finally an off day. decided to stay at home since i'm unwell. consecutive 3 days of A shift after today. argh. luckily i have my dad to drive me to work for A shifts. if not i gotta get up at 4.30am.

A shift = 7am - 3pm, fyi.

but at least, i have the rest of the day for myself. B shift, 3pm - 11pm, is a wake-up-work-go-home-slp routine. u dun even have time to watch tv.

i feel like an auntie now la. i even overheard aunties gossiping abt the channel u 19-yr sth sth drama. i dun even watch tv. i dun go out. i dun facebook or friendster anymore. i duno who released the latest album. i duno what good movies are showing in the cinemas. i dun even noe who the bloody hell won f1. i mean i noe his name (from the papers) but i duno how he look like. HAHA.

i now only know...

"good morning! checking in, sir? may i have your passport for registration? thank you."

or to koreans and russians "check out: 18 oct. check out time, 12 o'clock. ok? *do the ok sign*"

and so many times, i picked up the phone and "good morn....afternoon. front desk. lee shyuan speaking. how may i assist you?"

and at work, i had to respond to "LS", "shu-yuan" and "lee shyuan". oh, and even "lee" by the bellman.

well, at least everyone quite nice at work. especially my buddy. she's a malay, and she goes "bu yao qi fu wo de nu er!" =)

oh, did i mention? after i work for like a few weeks, there's this new comer from SP. after introducing myself to her, she went "actually i've seen u b4. i went to google 'swissotel merchant court uniform' to try my luck to see if there's any pictures of it, and ur blog was the result. why u cut short hair huh?"

OMG?! ppl know me b4 i even seen them. so scary can??

and very very long ago, the adventurous 3 sisters decided to bring germaine out with her big big continental pram to go shopping. yes continental. even her dad drives a japanese (nissan) car. the baby is so branded and spoilt.

so adventurous, we bth. gotta look for lifts everywhere. escalators are damn scary. gotta alight at somerset coz somerset has lift, orchard mrt doesnt. walk one round from singtel to cine, bcoz the mrt lift is located at the exit near singtel.

bth, so we asked her dad out for dinner so he can pick us up wherever we were, and drive us home too. LOL.

this is damn embarrassing i tell u. i duno who the hell in the family suggest we all go up to the stage of the restaurant, u noe those wedding dinner kind of stage, to take a family photo. i'm like... nooooooooooooo.
